Basketball Recap: Washington County Panthers vs. Lejeune Devil Pups
Washington County had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Lejeune Devil Pups with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 73-54. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Brandon Carter Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 78% from the field on his way to 38 points along with seven assists and six steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Phelps, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 23 boards.
