Baseball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Chilhowie Warriors.

Wayne saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kahlen Clark, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. William Murray also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Chilhowie, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Wayne will square off against School of the Arts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chilhowie, they will take on Mendon at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
