Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jacksonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Sacred Heart-Griffin 2-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crimsons have posted against the Cyclones since September 28, 2021.

Jacksonville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Jacksonville's victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 16-19. As for Springfield, their win bumped their record up to 23-9.
