Foothill is a perfect 10-0 against Basic since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Falcons will head out on the road to face off against Wolves at 6:45 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Foothill is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Green Valley on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Gators. Foothill haven't had much luck with Green Valley recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Basic didn't have quite enough to beat Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Foothill now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Basic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-4.

Everything went Foothill's way against Basic in their previous matchup back in August, as Foothill made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
