Glastonbury has gone 6-1 against Hall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Glastonbury is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Conard, who was ranked first at the time (Glastonbury was ranked eighth). The Guardians fell just short of the Red Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Guardians have struggled against the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Glastonbury sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-19, 24-26, 25-22, 22-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Hall came up short against Newington on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Hall ultimately came up short, they really made Newington work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 26-28, 26-24, 25-15.

Glastonbury will need to focus on slowing down Joshua Ng, one of several Hall players who made an impact when they last played. He had ten digs. Ng is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Hall's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Glastonbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Glastonbury beat Hall 3-1 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will the Guardians repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
