After a string of three wins, The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to James Logan 33-29. Bishop O'Dowd has struggled against James Logan recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Bishop O'Dowd's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Dixon, who picked up 136 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Dixon hasn't dropped below two receiving touchdowns for three straight games. Deji Ajose did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 63 receiving yards.
Bishop O'Dowd's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for James Logan, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Bishop O'Dowd will be playing at home against San Leandro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Leandro is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for James Logan, they will head out on the road to face off against Moreau Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
