Peninsula suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Peninsula vs. Santa Monica
Peninsula's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Santa Monica. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Peninsula in their matchups with Santa Monica: they've now lost four in a row.
Peninsula bumped their record down to 6-9-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Santa Monica, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peninsula will take on Mira Costa at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mira Costa's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Santa Monica, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palos Verdes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
