Basketball Recap: Howard Piles Up the Points Against Ethan

Howard had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ethan Rustlers 58-31. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Howard is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Ethan, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Howard will face off against Oldham-Ramona/R at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Howard's favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Oldham-Ramona/R has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for Ethan, they will venture away from home to challenge James Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
