Buena had won eight straight home games and Jamin Booker did his part to make it nine on Thursday. The Buena Colts walked away with a 62-54 win over the Cienega Bobcats thanks in part to Booker, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 19 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Kingston Clarke, who posted eight points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Cienega lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kristian DelRio, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 14 points. Jackson Moore was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight assists.

Buena is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.9 points over those games. As for Cienega, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6.

As of now, neither Buena nor Cienega have any future games scheduled.
