Baseball Game Preview: Palacios Sharks vs. Tidehaven Tigers

Palacios is 1-9 against Tidehaven since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sharks will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Palacios is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Hallettsville, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Sharks have suffered since March 21st.

Trey Wexilman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tidehaven posted their closest victory since February 28th on Thursday. They skirted past Industrial 5-3. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Cobras on their field since April 25, 2023.

The team relied heavily on BRYCE SLIVA, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was JECHAN DURAN, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Tidehaven has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record this season. As for Palacios, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
