Basketball Recap: Davidson Finds Home Court Redemption Against Cottage Hill Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Davidson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past the Cottage Hill Christian Academy Warriors 68-66. Given Davidson's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Cottage Hill Christian Academy is ranked 223rd), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davidson will head out to challenge Bryant at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Davidson is facing Bryant at the right time seeing as Bryant is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Cottage Hill Christian Academy, they will challenge Mobile Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
