Cair Paravel came into Saturday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Council Grove Braves on Saturday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Tuesday.

Amea Lyons paced Cair Paravel's offense, picking up seven kills. Lyons got some help from Clare Everhart and her 20 assists. Karsyn Hastert controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cair Paravel's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Council Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-23-3.

Cair Paravel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Chase County on the 11th. Council Grove has also already played their next matchup (against Wabaunsee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
