Soccer Recap: Beacon Hill Has No Trouble Against Ojai Valley

The matchup between Beacon Hill and Ojai Valley on Friday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Beacon Hill Gryphon put the hurt on the Ojai Valley Spuds with a sharp 9-1 victory. It was an even better day for Gavyn Deutsch as he scored three goals for his team.

The win got Beacon Hill back to even at 3-3-1. As for Ojai Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beacon Hill has already played their next game (against Pilgrim), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ojai Valley will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Glendale Adventist at 3:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
