             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Eastern). They claimed a resounding  69-20 victory over the Salem Lions. With that  win, the Musketeers brought their scoring average up to 50.4  points per game.
 Eastern's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Addison Smith led the charge by  going 8 for 17 en route to 18 points plus six  steals. Smith is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed three or more in the last three games she's  played.  Avery Smith was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on ten  rebounds and nine  steals.
 Eastern was working as a unit and  finished the game with 16  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Eastern's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 3-2. As for Salem,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Eastern will play host again  on Wednesday to welcome Henryville, where tip off is scheduled  at 7:30  p.m. Henryville will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Eastern surely won't give up without a fight. Salem has already played their next matchup,  a  60-2  loss against Madison on the 23rd.
