Baseball Recap: Seeger's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Seeger entered their tilt with Parke Heritage on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Wolves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Macyn Hughes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Seeger is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 6-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Seeger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Grimmett, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Logan Anderson was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Seeger now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Parke Heritage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
