Football Game Preview: Somerville vs. Warren Hills Regional

If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Somerville. They will be playing at home against Warren Hills Regional at on Friday. Warren Hills Regional will need to watch out since Somerville have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.

Last Friday, Somerville put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Cranford 50-7. Among those leading the charge for Somerville was senior Jalahn Dabney, who threw 4 TDs and picked up 98 yards on the ground.

Meanwhile, Warren Hills Regional took their matchup against Scotch Plains-Fanwood by a conclusive 42-14 score. The win was familiar territory for Warren Hills Regional, who now have three in a row.

Their wins bumped Somerville to 6-0 and Warren Hills Regional to 3-3. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
