Football Preview: Southern Columbia Area Tigers vs. Bloomsburg Panthers        
        
		
             Southern Columbia Area is 7-0 against Bloomsburg since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when  Tigers faces off against the Bloomsburg Panthers at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Friday, Southern Columbia Area sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  19-16  win over Montoursville.
 Meanwhile, Bloomsburg won against Hughesville  last Friday with 39  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Friday. Bloomsburg walked away with  a   39-29  victory over Shikellamy. With that  win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 27  points per game.
 Bloomsburg relied on the efforts of   Wyatt Brosious, who rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns, and   Jharee Moore-Stewart, who gained 116 total yards and three touchdowns. Brosious is becoming a predictor of Bloomsburg's success: when he posts  at  least two  rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Bloomsburg also got help from  Jack Katulis, who showed off his sure hands for 95  receiving yards.
 The  victory  got Southern Columbia Area back to even at 4-4. As for Bloomsburg, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.
 Everything came up roses for Southern Columbia Area against Bloomsburg when the teams last played  back in September of 2021, as the  squad secured  a  41-0 victory.
