Soccer Recap: DeSoto Central Takes a Loss

DeSoto Central was the 1-0 winner over Lewisburg when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The DeSoto Central Jaguars fell just short of the Lewisburg Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DeSoto Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lewisburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

When DeSoto Central and Lewisburg next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. DeSoto Central will try to stop Oxford's four-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Meanwhile, Lewisburg will challenge East Central and their seven-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
