Basketball Recap: Lake View Victorious

If Von Steuben wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lake View, they should've done a better job of containing Jada Marrero. The Lake View Wildcats slipped by the Von Steuben Panthers 31-30 on Wednesday thanks in part to Marrero, who posted 21 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lake View's points.

The win got Lake View back to even at 4-4. As for Von Steuben, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Lake View is taking a road trip to take on Senn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Von Steuben, they will welcome North Grand at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Von Steuben is facing North Grand at the right time seeing as North Grand is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
