Football Game Recap: Timberland vs. Fort Zumwalt East

Timberland might have drawn first blood against Fort Zumwalt East on Friday, but it was Fort Zumwalt East who got the last laugh. Timberland came up short against Fort Zumwalt East, falling 22-36. Timberland are ranked 38th in the state (96 spots ahead of Fort Zumwalt East), so the loss was all the more frustrating.

The defeat dropped Timberland's record to 3-2. The victory bumped Fort Zumwalt East's record up to 4-1.

Timberland will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Liberty. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. Fort Zumwalt East will stay at home against Fort Zumwalt South at 7:00 PM. Fort Zumwalt South took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Fort Zumwalt East's good fortune.
