Football Recap: Pineville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Pineville's offense. They were beaten by the Middlesboro Yellowjackets 50-0 on Friday. The Mountain Lions have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Pineville's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Middlesboro, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Pineville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lynn Camp at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Middlesboro, they will challenge Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
