Volleyball Recap: Falkville Comes Up Short

Falkville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lexington Golden Bears.

Leading Lexington to victory were Macy Davis and Katelyn Sullivan. Davis had seven digs and five aces, while Sullivan had 21 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Davis has posted since back in August.

Falkville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Lexington, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-25 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falkville will host Athens Bible at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Brooks at 4:00 p.m.
