Softball Recap: West Muskingum Takes a Loss

West Muskingum lost against Sheridan back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tornadoes lost 8-2 to the Generals. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Muskingum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lydiah Huey, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

West Muskingum's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Sheridan, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Looking ahead, West Muskingum will challenge Philo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes are facing the Electrics at the right time seeing as the Electrics are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sheridan, they will square off against Central Crossing at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
