Junior Savannah Horvath of Centennial (Las Vegas), sophomore Samantha Show of Pearland (Texas) and freshman Kayla Drotar of Hartsville (S.C.) headline the 2013 MaxPreps Softball Underclass All-American Team.
Junior of the Year: Savannah Horvath, CentennialHorvath, who batted .585 with 17 home runs, 64 runs scored and a state record-tying 87 RBIs, heads up the Junior Underclass All-American team. The Las Vegas Review-Journal Player of the Year, Horvath was Nevada's 2013 Gatorade recipient as Softball Player of the Year.
In addition to her 17 round-trippers, Horvath hit 15 doubles, four triples and posted a slugging percentage of 1.154. She also stole 10 bases.
Centennial scored 353 runs in winning 36 of its 42 games and repeated as Nevada's D-1 champions. Horvath accounted for 151 of those Bulldog runs.
Horvath, who verbally committed to Cal State Northridge, had 76 hits in 130 at-bats with just eight strikeouts, three of those coming in Centennial's fifth game of the season. She finished the season on a 25-game hitting streak as the Bulldogs went 24-1.
Simply put, producing runs was Horvath's thing. She drove in at least one run in each of her final 13 games and 36 total during that stretch — all Centennial wins. In a seven game stretch in April, she drove in 34, again all victories.
On April 9 and 11, she drove in eight runs in each game.
More importantly, in the Bulldogs' seven postseason games, Horvath went 17-for-22 (.773), including 8-for-10 in the state tournament, with three homers, 19 RBIs and 15 runs. She had two homers, two doubles and 10 RBIs in Centennial's three state tournament victories.
Sophomore of the Year: Samantha Show, Pearland

Show hit and pitched her way onto just about any post-season softball team named in Texas. In addition to being named MaxPreps Sophomore of the Year, she was the Texas Gatorade winner, District 22-5A Most Valuable Player and first team All-State, to name a few.
In only her second season of high school softball, the Oilers ace struck out 357 batters in 183 innings. In allowing just 47 hits, Show compiled a 0.65 ERA and pitched three no-hitters, five one-hitters and seven two-hitters. She won 30 games.
Show, who has committed to Texas A&M, also batted .436 and drove in 70 runs. Of her 51 base hits, 29 went for extra bases.
Freshman of the Year: Cayla Drotar, HartsvilleDrotar, though only a freshman, has been named the Morning News Softball Player of the Year twice and All-State twice. She has already committed to the University of South Carolina.
As a freshman, Drotar was 17-3 with a sub-1.00 ERA, batted .500 and hit eight home runs.
As an eighth-grader on Hartsville's varsity, she was 25-1 and led the Red Foxes to the state 3A title. In that final game, Drotar out-dueled Stanford-bound Carley Hoover, Gatorade's 2013 National Softball Player of the Year.

The junior righthander led the Patriots to MaxPreps' mythical national title and a third-straight unbeaten season. She was 22-0 with 21 shutouts and allowed only one run and it was unearned. Cummings posted 298 strikeouts in 135 innings pitched. She threw nine no-hitters, including two perfect games, and held opponents to a .041 batting average. She has committed to Penn State.
P - Elizabeth Moss, Greenwood (Bowling Green, Ky.)Moss was 32-0 and struck out 222 in 182 Innings. Of the 645 batters she faced, only 71 managed base hits. The All-State pitcher walked only 22 and compiled a 0.38 ERA.
P - Taylor Weaver, Romeo (Mich.)Weaver led Romeo to its first appearance in the state tournament, where it fell short in the Division 1 semifinals. Finishing the season with 301 strikeouts in 205 innings and 30-3 record, Weaver has committed to Central Michigan.
P - Steph Thomas, Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.)Thomas was 29-2 as IHA finished as a runner-up in New Jersey. She held opponents to .134 average, struck out 238 in 193 innings and had an 0.34 ERA. She pitched 22 shutouts and was named the North Jersey Record Pitcher of the Year. She has committed to Lafayette College.
P - Johanna Grauer, Amador Valley (Pleasanton, Calif.)Grauer was 22-2 with a 0.08 ERA and only two earned runs given up and 39 hits allowed in 152 innings pitched that saw her strike out 274 batters. Besides pitching one perfect game this season, Grauer pitched three no-hitters and eight one-hitters. As a batter, after struggling with a batting average below .200 until midway through league play, she ended up at .328 on the season. She has committed to Arizona State.
P - Tara Thacker, Hoover (North Canton, Ohio)Thacker was 21-0 and posted a 0.62 ERA with 134 strikeouts in 124 innings. She also batted .337 with 25 RBIs and 23 runs as Hoover won its third-straight state title and finished the season without a loss.
P - Miranda Viramontes, Chino (Calif.)The CIF-SS Division 2 Player of the year won 21 consecutive starts to finish out the season, posting a 0.36 earned run average during the regular season and allowed two runs in five postseason games. She finished with five no-hitters, six one-hitters and 15 shutouts. She has committed to Utah.
P - Tatum Buckley, Masuk (Monroe, Conn.)Buckley led the Panthers to the Class L state championship. Buckley, named the state's Gatorade Softball winner, compiled a perfect 27-0 record with a 0.37 ERA for the Panthers. Of her 27 wins, 18 were shutouts, four were no-hitters and two were perfect games. She struck out 289 batters in 171 innings and was named the CHSCA Player of the Year and CHSCA Female Athlete of the Year. She also batted leadoff with a .506 average with 42 hits and 28 RBIs. She has committed to Florida Atlantic.
P - Makenzie Prince, Smyrna (Tenn.)The 5-foot-3 junior right-handed pitcher led the Bulldogs to a 40-10 record and the Class AAA state championship this season. Prince posted a 37-6 record with a 0.83 ERA and 370 strikeouts in 252 innings pitched. Named the Pitcher of the Year by the Daily News Journal, she also batted .401 with five home runs and 31 RBIs. In the Class AAA state tournament, she finished 4-0 with a 0.45 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched.
P - Allyson Frei, High Point (Sussex, N.J.)Frei posted a 22-4 record with a 0.19 ERA and 393 strikeouts in 186 innings pitched this past season, leading the Wildcats (22-4-1) to the North I, Group III sectional final. A returning First Team All-State selection as named by The Star-Ledger, Frei recorded 14 shutouts and two no-hitters, including a 21-strikeout perfect game against Vernon Township on April 8. Also the returning All-West Jersey Player of the Year, she batted .325 with four home runs and 18 RBIs.
P - Allie Walljasper, Sierra (Manteca, Calif.)She was 18-2 during the regular season — her only losses coming to city rival East Union and playoff qualifier Oakdale — with a 0.47 ERA. Opponents batted .088 against her. In 120 innings, she struck out 227 and walked just 24. She batted .482 with 20 RBIs, a .557 on-base percentage and an .815 slugging percentage. She has committed to LSU.

Jelenicki batted .576, drove in 31 runs, scored 32 and 21 of her base hits were for extra bases, including nine home runs. She struck out just once in 2013 as the Centurions finished 20-10. She has committed to UCLA.
C - Ashley Walters, Center Point (Texas)Batting leadoff, Walters was unstoppable – .761 batting average (.807 OBA), 70 hits, 70 runs, 76 RBIs, 19 home runs, 30 doubles, 4 triples, 1.793 slugging and she struck out just once. She has committed to Texas A&M.
C - Gwen Svekis, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)Svekis, who was named the Sun-Sentinel's Large School Player of the Year, batted .407 with 34 RBIs, nine home runs, and 19 extra base hits. She has committed to Oregon.
1B - Allison Stewart, Olathe East (Kan.)A two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year, the right-handed pitcher and first baseman led the Hawks (24-1) to a second-straight Class 6A state championship. Stewart batted .487 with two home runs, 42 RBIs and a .713 slugging percentage. In the circle, the Sunflower League Player of the Year posted a 13-1 record with a 0.39 ERA and 164 strikeouts against just two walks in 90.1 innings pitched. She struck out 17 batters and had a walk-off single in Olathe East's 2-1, nine-inning win over Derby High in the state semifinals. She has committed to Arkansas.
1B - Caitlin Plocheck, Deer Park (Texas)Plocheck batted .546 and drove in 43 runs. She was also 8-0 with an 1.16 ERA and struck out 90 in 66 innings. The Houston Chronicle Player of the Year has committed to Lipscomb.
IF - Savannah Horvath, Centennial (Las Vegas)The 5-8 junior third baseman led the Bulldogs (36-6) to the Class 4A state championship this past season and was named MaxPreps Junior Player of the Year. Horvath batted .585 with 17 home runs, 64 runs scored and a state record-tying 87 RBIs. She is a First Team All-State selection and the Las Vegas Review-Journal Player of the Year.
IF - Vanessa Shippy, Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho)The second baseman put up numbers that made her a finalist for Junior Player of the Year as she batted .733 with an on base percentage of .774 in 28 games. She had 70 hits, scored 69 runs, drove in 30 teammates and was not caught stealing in 54 tries. She had 21 extra base hits and played a key role in Lake City winning its second state title in three years. She has committed to Arkansas.
IF - Jenna Lilley, Hoover (North Canton, Ohio)The shortstop led the Crimson Tide to a 35-0 record and the Division I state title. Lilley batted .697 with seven home runs, 53 RBIs and 46 runs scored in 32 games. A 2012 First Team All-State selection, she has produced an .804 on-base percentage and a 1.303 slugging percentage. She has committed to Oregon.
IF - Kylee Perez, Alhambra (Martinez, Calif.)Perez finished 2013 with a .618 batting average, .691 on base percentage, 42 hits, 51 RBIs, 46 runs, 12 home runs, 18 steals and committed one error. She has committed to UCLA.
IF - Brooke Wydeski, Marist (Chicago)Wydeski batted .587 with 12 home runs, 64 RBIs and 50 runs scored while slugging 1.025 and stealing 22 bases en route to being named The Regional News-The Reporter Softball Player of the Year. She has committed to Loyola.
IF - Corrin Green, Mountain Ridge (Glendale, Ariz.)Green put up big numbers for state's No. 3 team – .566 BA, .632 OBA, 60 hits, 56 RBIs, 46 runs, 33 extra base hits, including 17 home runs and 1.198 slugging pct. She has committed to New Mexico State.
IF - Alyssa Angel, La Grange (Texas)All-stater with 32 extra base hits and 68 runs scored to go with a .525 batting average and 38 RBIs. She also had 41 stolen bases for the 38-4 Leopards. She has committed to Texas.
OF - Raley Slone, Greenwood (Bowling Green, Ky.)Slone struck out just four times in 156 at-bats while collecting 83 base hits and batting .532. She scored 61 runs, had 19 stolen bases and did not commit an error as Greenwood went 44-0 and earned a No. 3 national ranking.
OF - Emily Griggs, Maize (Kan.)Griggs batted .688, scored 40 runs and totaled 55 hits in just 23 games. She had an on base percentage of .731 and added 21 stolen bases for the 18-5 Eagles.
OF - Brianna Gonzalez, Chapin (El Paso, Texas)Ending the season with a 20-game hitting streak, Gonzalez batted .560 and accounted for 151 runs (76 runs, 75 RBIs). She had 13 doubles, 13 triples and 16 home runs en route to a 1.209 slugging percentage.

Woodruff hit for power and average – .542 with 15 home runs, 48 RBIs and 24 doubles. She also stole 46 bases. She has committed to Jacksonville State.
OF - Breanna Beatty, Palo Verde (Las Vegas)Beatty batted .525, with nine home runs, 19 doubles and 49 RBIs for the state's No. 2 team. She has committed to North Dakota State.
UTIL - Nicole Newman, La Follette (Madison, Wis.)A 6-1 right-handed pitcher, Newman registered a 15-4 record with a 0.44 ERA and 311 strikeouts against only 22 walks in 143.2 innings, leading the Lancers (17-5) to the Division 1 regional finals. A returning First Team All-State selection as named by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association, Newman batted .567 with six home runs.
UTIL - Kelsey Smith, Empire (Tucson, Ariz.)Smith led the state in RBIs with 75 and was tied for second in home runs with 15. She also went 11-3 in the circle, striking out 89 batters in 56.2 innings with a 1.73 ERA. She had 21 multi-RBI games and may have had her best performance against San Manuel, the eventual Division IV state champion, when she homered twice and drove in five runs. P - T Statman, Horizon (Scottsdale, Ariz.)With the given name Tamara, Statman followed up her freshmen year in a big way with 24 wins, 286 strikeouts in 187 innings and the Arizona Republic's Phoenix Area Pitcher of the Year and Player of the Year as she batted .481 with 50 hits in leading Horizon to a 29-6 record. She has committed to Arizona.

Garcia posted a 22-2 record in the circle with a 0.50 ERA this past season, leading the Bulldogs (22-2) to the Southern Section Division 3 tournament. She struck out 302 batters in 139 innings pitched, allowing 42 hits and 24 walks with 14 shutouts and four no-hitters. At the plate, Garcia batted .709 with 13 home runs, 12 doubles, 42 RBIs and a 1.380 slugging percentage. She produced more extra-base hits (26) than outs (23) on the year. She has committed to UCLA .
P - Kiana Millsaps, Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.)Millsaps led her team to the state 4A title with 23-0 pitching record and 0.91 ERA. She allowed only 18 runs in 139 innings. Millsaps allowed 12 walks all season and hit .365 with four home runs.
P - Andrea Kindrick, Russellville (Ark.)Kindrick led the Cyclones (20-7) to the Class 6A state championship as she was 20-4 with a 0.16 ERA and 287 strikeouts in 135 innings. She allowed 42 hits and 14 walks with 13 shutouts and six perfect games. At the plate, the two-time Class 6A First Team All-State selection batted .475 with four home runs, 10 doubles, 29 RBIs and an .847 slugging percentage. She was the Arkansas Gatorade winner.
P - Kaitlin Brooks, Burbank (Calif.)The Notre Dame commit was 25-3 with a 0.78 ERA and 309 strikeouts in 170 innings. She also hit .526 with 12 home runs, 42 runs and 35 RBIs to earn Pacific League MVP and Division 3 first-team honors.
P - Colette Robert, McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, Ore.)The left-handed all-stater was 25-3 with a 1.05 ERA in 140 innings. She pitched eight shutouts and struck out 183 and walked only nine. In leading Mac-Hi to the state final game (a 1-0 loss), Robert hit .447 with 18 RBIs, 27 runs and was walked 20 times.
P - Elise Walton, Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, Va.)Walton led the Vikings to the state runner-up spot with a 22-3 record, a 0.31 ERA and 301 strikeouts in 157 innings. She also batted .464 and drove in 48 runs. She pitched 10 shutouts and her three losses were by a total of four runs.
P - Taran Alvelo, Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, Ohio)By recording 363 strikeouts in 181 innings and winning 27 games, Alvelo led the Bulldogs to the D-3 state title. While her ERA was under 1.00, she also was an offensive force – .440 average, 13 homers and a .929 slugging percentage. She has committed to Washington.
P - Megan Hensley, Ashland Blazer (Ashland, Ky.)Blazer made a deep run in the postseason behind Hensley, who won 24 games and struck out 403 batters in 219 innings. In posting a 0.99 ERA, Hensley threw a dozen shutouts and struck out 10 or more batters 27 times in a game. She also batted .391 with 35 RBIs.
P - Emily Oestreich, Vintage (Napa, Calif.)Oestreich led the Crushers to the Sac-Joaquin D-I title by winning 33 games without a loss. She posted a 1.50 ERA and fanned 299 batters in 215 innings.
P - Madi Moore, Winfield (Ala.)Moore, a sophomore lefthander with a 31-6 record, was a first-team All-State selection after she struck out 411 batters in 251 innings. She had 20 shutouts, seven no-hitters and one perfect game. Moore struck out 26 in a 14-inning no-hit 2-1 win over Good Hope in the regional tournament.
C - Ari Samaniego, Desert Edge (Goodyear, Ariz.)Samaniego, who catches and plays outfield, hit 13 home runs, 21 doubles, five triples, drove in 60 RBIs and scored 50 runs. She batted .543 with a 1.287 slugging percentage. She struck out twice all season.
C - Stephanie Abello, Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.)For opposing pitchers, there was probably no scarier sight than seeing Abello step into the batter's box. The East Suburban Catholic all-conference selection led the Redwings in average (.550) and home runs (12), tied for team-high honors with 51 RBIs and also scored 21 runs, all in 25 games. She has committed to Illinois.
C - Maddie McCracken, North (Olathe, Kan.)McCracken batted .510, drove in 33, homered nine times, was walked 26 times (16 intentionally) and committed just one error in 2013. Three of her home runs were grand slams and two were game-winners. She has committed to Notre Dame.
1B - Erika Underwood, Addison (Mich.)Underwood had a .613 average and an on-base percentage of .730 for Addison. Her 17 home runs tied her for the second-most home runs in state history. She added 33 walks, 10 stolen bases, 34 RBIs and 53 runs. She was named to the Division 3 All-State Team for the second time. She was named MichiganLive's Player of the Year.
1B - Caroline Hardy, Vestavia Hills (Ala.)With Hardy powering 19 home runs and 59 RBIs, Vestavia Hills won 44 games. She also scored 44 runs and batted .445. She has committed to Alabama.
IF - Aubrey Leach, The Woodlands (Texas)With speed to burn, Leach batted .509 (.608 on-base percentage) and totaled 59 hits and runs. She also stole 44 bases. She has committed to Tennessee.

McCarty hit .576 with 14 home runs and 47 RBIs. She even pitched when needed. She has committed to Washington.
IF - Lizzy Birch, Independence (Charlotte, N.C.)The Southwestern 4A Player of the Year hit .691 with three home runs and 12 doubles.
IF - Vanessa Anderson, Byron (Minn.) Anderson averaged a home run every six at-bats and drove in 34 runs in only 22 games. Walked 27 times, she batted .582 (.737 on-base percentage) and scored 43 runs. She also picked up a dozen wins as a pitcher.
IF - Brianna Tautalafua, Carson (Calif.)Named the Daily Breeze's Player of the Year, Tautalafua batted .587 (54-for-92) with 15 homers, 59 RBIs, 50 runs scored, 13 doubles and two triples. She has committed to UCLA.
IF - Alyssa DiCarlo, Mountain Ridge (Glendale, Ariz.)The Georgia commit was a power on offense – 58 hits, 66 RBIs, 51 runs, .532 batting average and 18 doubles.
OF - Alyssa Palomino, Mission Viejo (Calif.)Palomino's 18 home runs, which tied for the state lead this season, came against some of the state's best pitchers. Besides the 18 homers, she hit .522 with nine doubles, two triples, 33 RBIs and 50 runs scored. The Orange County Register's Player of the Year has committed to Arizona.
OF - Dominique Jackson, Pleasant Valley (Chico, Calif.)Jackson led the Northern Section with 10 triples, 12 homers, 69 RBIs and a 1.051 slugging percentage. She hit homers in three-straight games and had three triples in one game - a state record. Jackson batted .521 and led PVHS to the CIF Northern Section Division II title.
OF - JaeCie Wilson, Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho)A table setter for the No. 2 ranked team (28-0) that featured a trio of All-Americans, Wilson is deserving in her own right with a .604 batting average, 55 hits, 56 runs and 18 stolen bases in 28 games.
OF - Amanda Lorenz, Moorpark (Calif.) The 5-foot-5 sophomore centerfielder was a pitcher's nightmare from the leadoff spot. Lorenz batted .625 with 50 hits, 17 home runs, nine doubles, 45 runs scored and 40 RBIs. She had a slugging percentage of 1.375 and made no errors on defense to help Moorpark capture its first outright Marmonte League title. Lorenz was named the league's Most Valuable Player and was a first-team All-CIF selection. Lorenz has committed to the University of Florida.
OF - Zoe Casas, Aquinas (San Bernardino, Calif.)

Casas batted .663 (63-for-95), stole 16 bases, scored 50 runs and drove in 30 runs in 28 games. She scored a run in all but one game. Casas also led the Falcons to the CIF-SS Division 5 title, was the CIF Player of the Year and the San Bernardino Sun's Player of the Year. She has committed to Florida State.
UTIL - Tatiana Su'e Su'e, San Juan (Blanding, Utah)Su'e Su'e did it all for San Juan as it won the 2A state title. She batted .551 and drove in 50 RBIs. More than half of her base hits were for extra bases, including 15 home runs. She also posted a 19-3 pitching record with a 1.60 ERA. She was named the state's 2A Player of the Year.
UTIL - Courtney Rogers, Hurricane (W. Va.)Hurricane won its first Class AAA softball state championship behind Rogers, who was 21-3 as a pitcher for the Redskins. She hit .492 with a state-leading 11 home runs, 16 doubles and 60 RBIs and was named the state's AAA Player of the Year.{PAGEBREAK}

FreshmenP - Cayla Drotar, Hartsville (S.C.)After winning 25 games and leading Hartsville to the 3A state title in 2012 (as an 8th grader), Drotar posted a 17-3 record and another sub-1.00 ERA this season. She fanned 146 in 129 innings and batted .500 with eight home runs and 28 RBIs. A South Carolina commit, Drotar is MaxPreps Freshman of the Year.
P - Coco Caraway, Hallettsville (Texas)Caraway made an immediate impact for the 31-4 Brahmas by winning 20 of her 23 decisions and recording a 1.80 ERA. She also had 174 strikeouts in 139 innings.

McBride was a 5A sensation after going 19-1 with a 1.75 ERA and batting .442 with 30 RBIs as Deer Park went 37-5. She has committed to Texas A&M.
P - Maribeth Gorsuch, Lewisville (Texas)Gorsuch led Lewisville to the Texas 5A title by going 22-4 with a 1.24 ERA and hit .392 with 32 RBIs. She was 6-0 with a 0.53 ERA in the playoffs despite playing with a rib muscle injury. Gorsuch was tabbed the Dallas-area Softball Player of the Year.
P - Ashley Bottomley, Terra Linda (San Rafael, Calif.)Bottomley led Terra Linda to the North Coast Section Division III title game. She posted a 23-4 record in 159 innings with 212 strikeouts and a 0.92 ERA. She also batted .322 with 20 RBIs.
P - Jenny Chapman, Lone Oak (Paducah, Ky.)Chapman led Lone Oak to 32-5 record and a deep run in the state playoffs. She recorded a 31-4 record with 220 strikeouts in 214 innings and a 0.92 ERA.
P - Brooklin Lee, Dickson County (Dickson, Tenn.)Lee pitched and batted Dickson to a 34-win season and a deep run in the 3A playoffs. She won 25 of 29 decisions and struck out 215 in 178 innings with a miniscule 0.35 ERA and 13 shutouts. She also put up impressive offensive numbers – batting .389 with 51 hits and 32 RBIs.
P - Rebecca Duncan, Royal (Simi Valley, Calif.)The 5-4 freshman pitcher made an immediate impact in the circle for the Highlanders. Duncan was 22-5 with a 1.68 ERA and 165 strikeouts in 179 innings. She was a first-team all-Marmonte League selection and the Most Valuable Player at the Katella Tournament
P - Haidyn Bassett, Oskaloosa (Kan.)Bassett helped Oskaloosa achieve a 20-2 record and a second straight trip to the 2-1A state tournament, where the Bears finished fourth. Bassett went 16-2 with 19 complete games, 239 strikeouts and a 1.12 ERA. In addition, she hit .492, with 27 RBIs and a dozen doubles.
P - Brittney Minor, Leroy (Ala.)Minor posted a 1.20 ERA with 28 wins, 244 strikeouts in 227 innings as Leroy won 32 games. She pitched a dozen shutouts and batted .321 with 22 RBIs and scored 36 times.
C - Kealia Wysocki, Thousand Oaks (Calif.)The catcher made immediate contributions to the Lancers when she batted a team-high .446 with 33 hits, six doubles, five home runs, three triples, 22 runs scored and 24 RBIs. She had a slugging percentage of .811 and on-base percentage of .559. Wysocki was a first team All-Marmonte League selection.
C - Toby Sznaj, University (Hartford, Conn.)Sznaj put up amazing numbers in 23 games — hitting .709 (.764 OBA), with 61 hits and 66 RBIs. She scored 53 times and had 10 home runs. She also walked 20 times for the 17-6 Hawks.
C - Dienna White, Cesar Chavez (Laveen, Ariz.)In 27 games, White drove in 68 runs on 47 hits.
1B - Rose Jaramillo, Kellis (Glendale, Ariz.)Of her 46 base hits, 24 were for extra bases and Jamarillo knocked in 67. She batted .474 and homered nine times.
1B - Autumn Humes, Bald Knob (Ark.)Humes ripped 11 doubles, 10 triples and drove in 36 runs with her .523 average. She also was 14-3 with a 1.73 ERA as a pitcher.
1B - Mia Camuso, Shasta (Redding, Calif.)The top hitter on 20-win team, Camuso batted .620 with 57 hits, 28 RBIs, 51 runs, and .696 OBA. She had 25 extra base hits. She has committed to Oregon.
IF - Kassidy Cross, Northern (Owings, Md.)Leading hitter on nation's top prep team with .519 batting average. In 23 games, she scored 34 times.
IF - Riley Tyteca, Viewmont (Bountiful, Utah)An all-stater, Tyteca was an offensive force — .635 BA, 47 hits, 45 RBIs, 43 runs .679 OBA in 23 games as Viewmont went 19-4. Tyteca had 13 home runs, 1.338 slugging pct.
IF - Makenna Partain, Banks (Ore.)The freshman shortstop was voted the 4A player of the year by league coaches after she hit .574 with 10 home runs, 17 doubles, eight triples and 60 RBIs and led Banks to the D-4 state title.
IF - Alissa Dalton, Cy-Fair (Cypress, Texas)Dalton led 5A Cy-Fair in all offensive categories as the team went 34-4. Her numbers — .532, 58 RBIs, 58 hits, 44 runs, .908 slugging, 24 stolen bases and 25 extra base hits. She has committed to Oklahoma.
IF - Zoe Marrott, Campolindo (Moraga, Calif.)Marrott had 10 hits in her final six games as the Cougars won CIF North Coast D-3 title. She finished year with .484 average and 23 RBIs. She was named the Cal-Hi Sports Freshman of the Year and has committed to Arizona State.
IF - Bailey Pierce, Seymour (Tenn.)Pierce drove in 56 runs with 55 hits and batted .382 as the Eagles won 41 times.

Her coach calls Stewart a "physical specimen' and her numbers support that — 56 hits, 42 runs, 37 stolen bases.
OF - Hannah Edwards, Catasauqua (Pa.)Edwards displayed power and speed in sparking Catasauqua's run to the District 11 Class AA title game. She batted .654 and stole 51 bases. She was the Lehigh Valley's Player of the Year.
OF - Lacey Swafford, Lafayette (Mayo, Fla.)En route to all-state honors, Swafford batted .539 (.628 OBP) with 41 hits, 39 runs and 16 stolen bases for 21-4 Lafayette.
OF - Hayley Barbazon, Belle Chasse (La.)Barbazon, a Times-Picayune first team choice, belted six home runs and drove in 60 to lead the 30-4 Cardinals.
OF - Clare Sebastianelli, Valley View (Archbald, Pa.)The rookie outfielder was instrumental in an unbeaten season and state title with a team high .513, batting average, 31 runs and 35 RBIs.
UTIL - Kenna DeLancey, Ritchie County (Ellenboro, W. Va.)Batting .652 with nine home runs and 41 RBIs to go along with a 13-0 pitching record enabled DeLancey to finish third in state Player of Year voting.
UTIL - Kadi Borries, Teutopolis (Ill.)Selected the Effingham's Player of the Year, Borries hit 14 home runs, drove in 37 and scored 36 while batting .478. Her big number was OPS of 1.666. She also went 13-3 on the mound with a 1.65 ERA.
UTIL - Lexus Burrows, Valley (Ala.)Burrows, the 2013 Opelika-Auburn News Player of the Year and a Class 5A All-State First-Team selection, batted .402 with eight home runs. She also had a 1.80 ERA in the circle with 260 strikeouts in 180 innings.
