Nazareth Area won against Bangor  on Saturday with ten  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Monday. The Blue Eagles never let the Pocono Mountain West Panthers get on the board and left with  a   10-0  win. Considering the Blue Eagles have won seven matches by more than six  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Matt Daems, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Evan Shak, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with two  runs.
 Nazareth Area  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pocono Mountain West struck out eight times.
The  victory was  the fourth in a row for Nazareth Area, bringing their record up to 10-4. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pocono Mountain West, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-10.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Nazareth Area beat the Panthers by a score of  10-0 later that day.
