Softball Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

Westview came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-3 to the Garrett Railroaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Westview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janissa Lehman, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Garrett, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Westview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Lakeland on the 17th. As for Garrett, they have also already played their next match, a 6-1 win against Churubusco on the 17th.
