Softball Recap: Breckenridge Triumphs

Breckenridge won the last time they faced Glenn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Bobcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Adyson Collins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brooklynn Long, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last seven games. Leah Wale was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Breckenridge's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Glenn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
