Basketball Recap: Norton Victorious

If Ellis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Norton, they should've done a better job of containing Kcanna Keiswetter. The Norton Bluejays walked away with a 52-41 win over the Ellis Railroaders on Saturday thanks in part to Keiswetter, who went 7 of 12 en route to 20 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Ellis' loss came despite strong showings from Natalee North and Isabella Eck. North dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Eck posted 13 points and three steals. North has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played.

Norton's record is now 3-10. As for Ellis, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
