Berry was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Caden Briscoe did his best to prevent it. Briscoe turned in his biggest game of the season, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Looking ahead, Briscoe and Berry will face off against Harding University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rams thanks in part to Briscoe: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
