Lake Park came out on top against Batavia on Thursday thanks in part to Ava Arenz's efforts. Arenz made a splash, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. It looks like she has Batavia's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them back in April of 2024.

Arenz and Lake Park will face off against St. Charles East at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last time these two faced off, Arenz and Co. were forced to settle for a 3-0 loss.
