Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin County Tech Eagles vs. Holyoke Purple Knights

Franklin County Tech hasn't had much luck against Holyoke recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Purple Knights at 5:30 p.m. Franklin County Tech will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Franklin County Tech proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Ludlow 3-2.

Meanwhile, Holyoke came up short against Greenfield on Friday and fell 3-1.

Holyoke actually scored more points across those four sets (89-88), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 13-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Holyoke's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Franklin County Tech, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.

Franklin County Tech might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Holyoke when the teams last played back in September of 2019. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
