Basketball Recap: Prairie View's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Prairie View waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 37-30 victory over the Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks. This was a revenge game for the Buffalos: when they faced off against the Jayhawks back in December of 2024, they had to take a 33-28 defeat.

Prairie View has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. As for Jayhawk Linn, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie View will challenge Burlington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burlington's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Prairie View's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jayhawk Linn, they will take on Pleasanton on Tuesday. Pleasanton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
