Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Chillicothe Cavaliers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16, 25-15.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Chillicothe, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

After both having extra time off, Wayne and Edgewood will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chillicothe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Westfall on the 17th.
