Baseball Preview: Broaddus Bulldogs vs. Kennard Tigers
For the second straight game, Broaddus will face off against Kennard. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Broaddus knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Kennard likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Broaddus made easy work of Kennard and carried off a 12-2 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Poore made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rayburn Mcclellan, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ace Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Broaddus' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Kennard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.
