Baseball Game Preview: Lenape Indians vs. Bordentown Scotties

The Lenape Indians will head out to take on the Bordentown Scotties at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lenape took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Eastern, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since April 5th.

Meanwhile, Bordentown got the win against Pemberton on Saturday by a conclusive 11-1. That's two games straight that the Scotties have won by exactly ten runs.

Lenape is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Bordentown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.
