It was a good run, but South unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tehachapi Warriors, falling 8-1. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

South saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Encinas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Tehachapi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

While South had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
