Basketball Recap: West Catholic Comes Up Short

West Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 77-73 to the Neumann-Goretti Saints, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-73 on Friday.

West Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Neumann-Goretti, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

West Catholic has already played their next contest (against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Neumann-Goretti, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-69 victory against Archbishop Wood on the 9th.
