Volleyball Recap: Giltner Gets the Win

Giltner can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the H&H Bearcats.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Giltner who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-28, 25-23.

Peyton Schutt paced Giltner's offense, picking up 15 kills. Schutt got some help from Avery Reeson and her 33 assists. Kalie Cady controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Giltner's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for H&H, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Giltner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wilcox-Hildreth on the 9th. As for H&H, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Superior on the 9th.
