The McClintock Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Fairfax Stampede at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

McClintock took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Alhambra. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Chargers considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfax). They blew past Metro Tech 29-19 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Stampede sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Emma Saiz made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring four runs.
