Niles Notre Dame won the last time they faced Taft and things went their way on Friday too. The Dons didn't even let the Eagles on the board, marking the Dons' second-straight 2-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Dons, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Niles Notre Dame easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17.

Niles Notre Dame pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Taft, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 20-5 record.
