Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beacon Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Trailblazers haven't had any issues with the Ravens recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19.

British International School of Chicago's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Beacon Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

British International School of Chicago beat Beacon Academy 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for British International School of Chicago since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around.
