Soccer Game Preview: Sun Prairie West vs. Madison East + How To Watch

The Sun Prairie West Wolves will head out to challenge the Madison East Purgolders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Sun Prairie West came up short against Madison West and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Sun Prairie West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 57th, while Madison West are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Madison East hasn't lost a match since September 9th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Madison La Follette finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

This is the second loss in a row for Sun Prairie West and nudges their season record down to 5-5-4. Madison East's draw makes their record 8-3-4 this season.

Sun Prairie West might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Madison East in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
