Volleyball Recap: Katelynn Rossiter's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Creekside Christian Academy over Konos Academy

Creekside Christian Academy was the 3-1 winner over Konos Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Condor by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Creekside Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-14, 15-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-3.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Katelynn Rossiter, who had seven digs and two aces. Rossiter has been hot, having also posted 19 or more assists the last five times she's played. Morgan Starr was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Creekside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Konos Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Creekside Christian Academy will face off against New Creation Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Konos Academy, they will challenge Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
