It was a proper cat-fight when Mehlville faced off against Seckman on Thursday. The Panthers blew past the Jaguars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in March.

Mehlville walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-21.

Their offense was headlined by Ian Iliff and Carter Heitman, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Ryan Jarrett and his 24 assists. Iliff was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Mehlville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Seckman, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Mehlville has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lindbergh on the 21st. As for Seckman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against St. Pius X on the 21st.
