Baseball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Takes a Loss

Jefferson Davis County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the East Marion Eagles, falling 16-3. One positive for the Jaguars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Jefferson Davis County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Marion, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6.

While Jefferson Davis County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
