Hardin-Jefferson entered their tilt with Deweyville on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hardin-Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Deweyville, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Hardin-Jefferson and Deweyville will both be playing Hudson the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Hornets at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
