Lincoln had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt West Fork on Thursday. The Wolves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Wolves have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Lincoln will head out on the road to take on Gentry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Fork, they will welcome Greenland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
