After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Shadow Mountain brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 21-6 margin over the Dysart Demons on Friday. Considering the Matadors have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Casey Evans was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Evans was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Ava Maroulis was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Hannah Sheehan was another key player, scoring four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
