Baseball Recap: East Stroudsburg South Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Stroudsburg South waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Delaware Valley Warriors. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 8-5 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

James Rabbitt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Logan Rasmussen was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Aaron Kasperski was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

East Stroudsburg South's record is now 9-4. As for Delaware Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Stroudsburg South will venture away from home to take on Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Delaware Valley, they will head out to square off against Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
