Virginia High had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Graham on Tuesday. The Bearcats blew past the G-Men 7-1. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Virginia High has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Graham, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.
